Incentia's TimeCraft Adopted by NEC Electronics as Signoff Static Timing Analyzer for 90-Nanometer Designs

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Aug 24, 2005 -- Incentia Design Systems, Inc., an EDA company in the timing and synthesis market, today announced that NEC Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723) (Kawasaki, Japan) has selected Incentia's TimeCraft® as a signoff static timing analyzer for 90-nanometer electronic designs. TimeCraft was picked for its fast runtime and advanced analysis features for nanometer designs.

Timing analysis is facing critical challenges in accuracy, runtime, and design capacity in 90-nanometer process technology and below. Incentia has enhanced TimeCraft to effectively address these challenges. In particular, Incentia has cooperated with NEC Electronics to develop location-based on-chip-variation features to resolve accuracy problems caused by statistical process variations in 90-nanometer designs. In addition, Incentia added a multi-task capability to TimeCraft to significantly speed up multi-corner and multi-mode analysis. These advanced features are now available to all of Incentia's TimeCraft customers.
